The PeeWee Maddogs kept the crowd on their feet in the KFL Bowl final on Saturday, November 6th at SMF Field. The game started with a TD called back for an illegal block, but had a good drive after that.
The offense came out strong and the first TD was scored. “You could see our confidence level go right through the roof, then they knew that they could do it,” said Head Coach Grant Currie.
According to Currie, the team proceeded to play a good solid game right to the end when they scored what was the final touchdown to take the lead with five plays left at the three minute mark. “The defence held them and we took a knee to win the KFL Bowl.”
