In addition to bringing Santa to the community, the Martensville & District Kinette Club also collected donations from local individuals and businesses, which helped them to adopt a total of seven local families this past Christmas, providing them with food, hygiene items, toys for children, gift cards and much more.

Initially, the plan was to adopt two families for Christmas, one from Martensville and one from another local community. As donations began coming in, the support from the community made it clear that more would be able to be included. The seven families that were provided with items had a total of 18 children between them.

“There are not enough words to express the gratitude and shock of the families we met. Martensville, you made it so families had food on their tables this Christmas and for that, everyone should be so very proud.”
