JP Massage Therapy has been a part of the Martensville business community since first opening their doors in 2010. Since then, Pam Schepp, JP Massage Therapy owner/operator, has seen tremendous growth not just in clientele, but in the various services offered through her Registered Massage Therapists (RMT). JP Massage Therapy has also seen growth in their location, having moved into their current location at 7 Centennial Drive North – Bay 5 in 2015.
The newest RMT to JP Massage Therapy is Theresa Zeyha, who started with the business in September of 2016. Zeyha has been working since 2013 and can offer a wide variety of services to her clients. “She is absolutely great and has proven to be a really amazing addition to JP Massage Therapy,” Schepp stated.
Another exciting addition is Kristi Kelly, who is currently enrolled in distance learning to become a RMT. Kelly, who is set to graduate in early 2018, is required to accumulate a specifi c amount of hands-on hours in order to complete the course. Having a student available to client’s means that those using Kelly’s services will obtain a discounted rate on all massages they receive. Since Kelly is not registered however, a receipt will not be issued for services received. Once graduated, Kelly will remain at JP Massage Theapy as an RMT. “This time of year, people are often running low on their coverage, so it is nice to be able to offer them a discounted rate to receive a fantastic massage. It really is benefi cial for everyone; Kristi gets her hours in, clients get a discounted rate, and we will get an RMT in the end,” Schepp said. Kristi is available on Tuesdays from 4pm-9pm Thursdays from 4pm-8pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Her discounted rates are: $25 for 30 mins, $30 for 45 mins, $40 for 1 hr and $60 for 1.5 hrs.
Currently, there are four full time RMT’s available, along with two part time RMT’s and now their student massage therapist. Between them all, they offer a wide variety of options including; Therapeutic and Relaxation Massage Therapy, Refl exology, Fire Cupping, Myofascial Cupping, Jade Stone Massage, Raindrop Therapy and Prenatal Massage Therapy.
Coming December 1st, 2017, clients of JP Massage Theapy will also be able to take advantage of the direct billing option for their benefi t coverage. “This is a service that we wanted to be able to provide to our clients. We thought that the convenience factor of it is something that people would appreciate,” added Schepp.
