As the weather seems to be hitting a high note this week, the Peter Kiewit Sons ULC Project Team that is currently working on the Highway 11 overpass has decided to move ahead with highway re-construction work at the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 305.

This work will require a short term closure of Highway 305 between the railway crossing and the new Warman interchange, which will be similar to last year’s closure as work was being done on railway improvements. Traffic will be re-routed to Centennial Boulevard and Central Street.

In addition, at the same time as the Highway 305 short term closure, Highway 11 will be re-routed from the existing southbound lanes onto the new permanent southbound highway infrastructure in a one lane configuration.

“We continue to appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation through our work site as we work towards completion of the interchanges,” Dawson Christie, Field Engineer for Peter Kiewit Sons ULC, stated in an update.
