Winter FunFest is taking place on Monday, February 19th and the City of Martensville has a big day planned for the community. This is one of the most popular events in the community, and always draws a large crowd.
There will be a wide array of both indoor and outdoor activities planned, which includes fun options such as sleigh rides, ice carving, soap carving, bonfires, a hot dog roast, ice skating, hockey, an indoor fish pond, a bouncy house, a toddler area, hot chocolate, games and more.
This year, there is a new addition of a dance with a DJ for some added fun and a great way to shake off those winter blues with your family and friends. According to Jamie McCulloch, City of Martensville Recreation Program Coordinator, one of the main highlights for this event is always the horse and carriage sleigh rides.
