Residents in the area are also asked to use 1st Avenue South, 2nd Avenue South or 3rd Avenue South for garbage and recycling pickup.
The contractor anticipates the hours of work for this project to take place Monday to Saturday from 7am to 8pm, however these hours may occasionally be extended.
“Construction sites can be inherently dangerous, and we ask for the public’s cooperation in maintaining a safe construction site. Please respect all barricades and posted signage around the construction area, as well as maintaining a safe distance from the construction equipment and materials. Of particular importance is the safety of the children in our community. Please take the time to explain to your children how to be safe around the construction site,” the City of Martensville stated in the notice to residents.
