City of Martensville Begins Summer Programming This July

If you are looking for something for your kids to do when school is out, The City of Martensville has you covered.


Their School’s Out for Summer Program is for kids aged 6 – 11 and will begin the first week of July. Activities will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1 – 4pm. The first session runs July 5 – 21 with each week featuring different activities.


Week one will highlight baseball, basketball, and football (July 5-7). Week two features lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball (July 12-14), and the last week will have hockey, golf, and tennis for activities (July 19-21). There will be a small break after the 21st with the next session beginning August 9 – 25. Week four activities are as follows; Music Makers, Awesome Astronomy, and Fun to be Fit (August 9-11), week five is Game on!, Craft & Create, and Splashtopia (Aug 16-18), and finally week six will feature Summer Safari, Camp Olympics, and Fun with Nature (Aug 23 – 25).


You can sign up a few days a week, a couple weeks, or the whole summer. All activities will be either at the Map, Heritage Centre and Outdoors with various instructors provided. The cost is $15/day and you can register on-line at www.martensville.ca. Look for the ‘Program Registrations’ button near the bottom of the page.
