Canada Wide Arrest Warrant Issued for 17-Year-Old Believed to Be Travelling in Saskatchewan

Pinehouse RCMP had reason to believe that 17-year-old Terence Warner was in the Pinehouse Lake area and asked for the public’s health in locating him.  On July 11th, at 6:05pm, Pinehouse RCMP notified public that Warner had been taken into custody without incident.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a 17-year-old that is wanted in connection with the death of 19-year-old Daniel Smith. On May 26th, 2018, Smith was found fatally injured in a Mississauga home after police responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 1:13am. According to the Peel Regional Police, Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau obtained the Canada wide arrest for second degree murder. A press release states that investigators received Judicial Authorization under the Youth Criminal Justice Act for the publication of this wanted Young Person’s identity.

Terrence Warner is wanted by Peel Regional Police for the offence of second degree murder in relation to the death of Daniel Smith. Believed to have fled the province, police are warning that Warner may be travelling in Saskatchewan and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him. Investigators are encouraging Warner to seek legal counsel and turn himself in to the nearest police station.

Warner is described as 5’11”. 130lbs, thin build, black, medium complexion, brown eyes and has short afro style hair. He is considered a danger to the public and is known to possess firearms and/or knives.
